JPEG compression: it requires Nvidia Fermi architecture or newer (Turing, Ampere, Ada...). Depending on the image size and required processing time, the number of shader processor units available on the GPU is important. Most part of the algorithm is performed on the CUDA processors, but the shader processors units are used in the last step of the calculation. A larger number of shader unit mean more pixels per second.
Performance Example:
Number of pixels per second calculated as: Camera Image size X * Camera Image size Y * frame rate per second.
H.264 compression: it can operate on Intel Quicksync, Intel ARC, Nvidia or AMD GPU. Maximum image resolution is hardware dependant, up to 4K+ (4096x4096) pixels resolution nomochrome or color. Multiple video stream can be real time compressed simultaneoulsy.
H.265 compression: it can operate on Intel Quicksync, Intel ARC, Nvidia or AMD GPU. Maximum image resolution is hardware dependant, up to 8K+ (8192x4096) pixels resolution nomochrome or color. Multiple video stream can be real time compressed simultaneoulsy. Features:Contact
