ARINC 818:

The ARINC 818 video interface and protocol standard was developed for high-bandwidth, low-latency, uncompressed digital video transmission. The standard has been advanced by ARINC and the aerospace community to meet the stringent needs of high-performance digital video. ARINC 818 video systems include infrared and other wavelength sensors, optical cameras, radar, flight recorders, map/chart systems, synthetic vision, image fusion systems, heads-up displays, heads-down multifunction displays, and video concentrators. These video systems are used for taxi and take-off assist, cargo loading, navigation, target tracking, collision avoidance and other critical functions.

GRAV64:

GRT's GRAV64 cards are used as Graphics Generators to light up displays, and as Frame Grabbers to capture or display ARINC 818 video streams. The ARINC 818 Standard is based on FC-AV. These cards offer bandwidth up to 3.1 Gbps with the flexibility to meet a wide range of formats and implementations. Fibre Channel provides a reliable, high bandwidth video link for video networks, point-to-point video connections (Multi Mode - 500 meters / Single Mode - 10km), or high EMI environments. Each card is Fibre Channel compliant at the FC-0, FC-1, and FC-2 layers.

HOTLink:

HOTlink is used in Infrared camera applications and point to point data communications. The GRT GRAV64 HOTLink II Video card (HL2V) is based on the Cypress HOTLink II Interface that is Fibre Channel compatible at the FC-0 and FC-1 layers. The card supports a wide range of video formats with data rates from 160 Mbps to 1.5 Gbps. Two 16 Mbyte image stores allow the card to have uninterrupted throughput from HOTLink II port to PCI or from HOTLink II to SXGA. The card is available with a 50 or 75 Ohm BNC connector, SMA , FCN type Twinax connector, or a Fiber Optic transceiver.
