TroublePix is a digital video recording software designed for factory floor applications or requirements needing a simple user interface. With TroublePix, you can acquire, view and review all within the same user interface. TroublePix provides features such as looping, prepost triggering, event marking and much more. Compatible with GigE, FirewireB, Analog and CameraLink high speed cameras from various manufacturers.

  • Provides quick access to exposed camera/grabber features.
  • Select a range within a sequence for playback, saving or exporting.
  • Lossy JPEG and Lossless JPEG video compression available using RLE, Huffman and LZ algorithms.
  • Can export as either uncompressed or encoded AVI (CineForm HD encoder available).
  • Save the current frame to disk or copy it to clipboard for later use in another application. Image formats supported: BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIFF.
  • Provides a quick save/export method by auto-generating file names based on a user defined filenaming scheme.
  • Before a recording starts, TroublePix automatically detects the maximum sequence length in time or number of frames, relative to the available disk space or RAM on the computer.
  • Allows to record and hold multiple sequences in memory, depending on the available amount of physical memory. When used with Auto-Rearm feature, the current sequence is automatically saved on disk before re-arming the system.
  • Focuses on recording images only around a Pre/Post trigger event. Can optionally locate the Pre/Post event using a marker after loading a sequence.
  • Ability to preview and print the current frame.
  • TroublePix can manage up to 5 pre-recorded sequences while recording or reviewing another one.
  • Controls the playback at fixed or variable speed either forwards or backwards.
  • Lets you quickly isolate a specific section within a sequence and find exactly the frame you want.
  • Provides quick access to previously recorded sequences.
  • Multiple image display modes with zoom capability.
  • Absolute or relative timestamp displayed as image overlay with the option to permanently "burn" it on the image.
  • Built-in disk/memory benchmark that allows the users to test their PC capability for record and playback.
