Previewing color images using a Bayer filter.

Recording a color sequence using a Bayer filter saves a great deal of space on your hard drive. The new StreamPix color preview mode allows you to visualize the color images in StreamPix before saving the raw data on your hard disk.

  • The original raw Bayer data is not affected as the interpolation is performed for display purposes only.
  • The Bayer interpolation is very CPU intensive, on large images it is possible to sub-sample the preview image.
  • You can also reduce the GUI refresh rate for high speed cameras. Display ranges from 1 image per second up to 30 images.
